In construction, cement is commonly understood as a special substance connecting different building materials to each other. There are many types and types of cement (Portland cement, white, expanding, non-shrink, quick-hardening, etc.) for specific construction tasks. The most common and versatile – Portland cement. From it, by introducing additives or adjusting the production process, most of the specialized types of cement are obtained. Today, cement is produced by both large enterprises and compact mini cement plants. Large cement plants are characterized by extensive production areas, numerous staff, large volumes of raw materials consumption with the corresponding volume of finished products. Do you always need to chase for such large volumes of production? Not. It is often much more profitable, and sometimes the only possible, to put a modern cement mini plant.
Cement production in mini plants, compared with stationary (large) enterprises, has the following advantages:
- Low cost manufacturing equipment. Quick payback.
- Low cost of arrangement of the production area. There is no need for the construction of capital buildings, pouring massive foundations for the installation of equipment.
- Small staff of workers.
- Simplified quality control of the entire production process.
- The ability to work on small raw material deposits (with small proven reserves of raw materials).
- Low power consumption allows you to freely choose the location of the future mini plant.
- The possibility of mutually beneficial cooperation with nearby large cement plants by focusing on the production of exclusively specialized types of cement (which the giant plants are reluctant to do), wholesale of semi-finished products – Portland cement from large enterprises.
- Significant reduction in transport costs due to the ability to work close to the source of raw materials and / or the consumer of finished products. If necessary, there is a real possibility of repeatedly changing the geographical location of the mini-plant by dismantling the entire complex of equipment and then installing it in a new place.
- Due to the proximity of the mini plant and the buyer, it is possible to reduce the cost of cement by eliminating the process of packing the finished product (weight shipment).
- Simplicity of extensibility of production thanks to the modular principle.
- It is possible to reorient the cement mini plant to the production of another (similar in technical process) type of products.
- Efficient use of waste from other industries (metallurgical, concentrating, chemical, etc.).
- With a competent approach to the production process, the cost of cement at the mini-plant will be only slightly higher than the cost of producing similar products in large (stationary) enterprises.
In order to organize the cement production process as efficiently as possible, it is necessary to select the right cement equipment initially. The most correct solution would be to buy a ready-made mini-plant, as a set of equipment combined in a single production cycle.
The minimum productivity of a cement plant (full cycle) is 100,000 tons per year, which is approximately 330 tons of cement per day.
According to statistics, cement production in the world and in Russia is increasing annually by more than 5%. The widespread organization of cement production at mini-plants will, firstly, effectively solve the problem of local cement shortage in a particular region of the country (in the future and on a more global scale), secondly, the constant high demand for cement guarantees investors a profitable investment, and the region Provided with many new jobs for many years to come.
