The beginning of the design work on the creation of the ore-sorting complex at the iron-manganese ore deposit of LLC “SAMET”, Republic of SAHA-Yakutia

The technology of radiometric separation (RRS) was developed at the Irgiredmet Institute in Irkutsk, and was widely developed for the preliminary and basic enrichment of many types of minerals. This is the only technology adopted by consumers and customers as the main enrichment technology, capable of producing high-quality concentrates for metallurgy in bulk.

The goal of these works is to put the RRS complex directly on board the quarry and immediately start the pilot operation of the complex, the task of which at the first stage is to build a commodity lumpy product with Mn content of about 40% (the initial Mn content in the ore is expected to be 17%) .
The proposed ore sorting complex (RSK) includes 2 nodes:
– crushing and sorting complex (DSC);
-complex or node RRS (RSK).

All components of the complex of the RRS, at the request of the customer, will be performed in a mobile, easy-assembly and collapsible version.
Each DSC and RSC node operates autonomously, which simplifies the coordination of the operation of equipment and the entire technology. DGC can work in a pilot production version or in a pilot production mode, with minor modifications it is transformed into an industrial version of work.
