Advantages of rectilinear coolers from ring, cup, etc.:
- more convenient for the layout of sinter plants;
- simultaneously lifts the agglomerate and transports it to sorting, which allows to reduce the height
agglomeration corps;
- simplicity of design allows to reduce the cost of maintenance and repair;
- easier implementation of uniform and high-quality sintering, as well as cleaning
spillage;
- equipment operation for 20 years without replacing the base units and at minimum cost
repairs.
Rectilinear coolers provide:
- reducing the need for spare parts – up to 100 tons per year;
- air consumption for cooling a ton of sinter – 2000 … 2500 m3
- reduction of downtime for the repair of equipment – up to 5%;
- automation of the process of lubrication of the hinges of the chain of the blade;
- the possibility of utilization of heat from exhaust gases, etc.
